Spring Slim Down 2023 Winners!
350 pounds in just 6 weeks! Spring Slam Down 2023 is in the books and, ugh, it was crazy! Our team was constantly in awe of the progress, both physically and mentally we were seeing during the challenge. We wanted to bring back the intensity with this challenge—in our workouts, our nutrition, our rewards, and most importantly, our grand prize (a free trip to Miami, FL just to jog your memory *wink face )! We brought back accountability groups for members to connect with each other and rely on each other for support during the 6-week challenge. We’ve introduced 6 new videos to the MOVE app, all focused on specific body parts to really feel the burn. We also reintroduced weekly giveaways for our #teamlsf community which continues to be the most loyal and supportive fitness community to exist!
Now, if you couldn’t tell, we brought the hat to this challenge and so did our members! Based only on the members who submitted their story, we almost lost. 350 Pound in this 6 week challenge! I can only imagine how much bigger that number is than the thousands of other members who did the challenge! “This challenge taught me consistency over intensity.
“This challenge came at the perfect time for me. I was a bit on the start date. Postpartum more than 3.5 months, from a complicated labor that turned into an emergency C-section. I was cleared to exercise, but mostly being a new mom I was feeling low on energy. I was also low on self-esteem.a little mentally drained from my newly changed body and from trying to balance all of my previous roles with my new role as a mother.
Each day I allowed myself time to sign into the Move app and complete the 10 daily and either do a daily workout, go out for a walk, do a video workout in the app, etc. At the end of the day I would log in. Check in on Instagram and with my accountability group, check out #lsfrollcall for recent posts and interact with the community. Having your own group of cheerleaders is amazing. And the girls really kept me going and encouraged me through the tough days.
This challenge taught me persistence more than intensity. Just do something that gets you closer to your goals. Give yourself grace and flexibility to do what you can. Even if that means walking or stretching for 5 minutes, a quick workout video, a fractional workout. Whatever works for you. Just do something.
My favorite part of SSD23 is the community support. from other motivated women. We may all be on our own journeys, but we connect with each other to support and encourage each other in living a healthy lifestyle, both mentally and physically, and that is so empowering.
At the end of the challenge I felt very proud of myself for completing it. I noticed increased energy as the weeks progressed and was amazed when I took my “after” pictures and the difference compared to my “before”.
I will continue to use the Hot Body Meal Plan and use the Move app daily and eagerly await the start of the next challenge! Team LSF for life 💕”

“This challenge has been my favorite ever! I’ve loved them all but I think this has to be it. My favorite because of most accountability groups. This was a game changer for me and made the challenge so much more fun! I have also learned different ways to prepare food and created a new routine that I plan to stick to. Having accountability groups has been amazing. I have made so many friends and have such a strong support group!! We definitely have each other’s backs! I don’t know what I would do without them! I love this community with all my heart and Team LSF is my life.! All my family and friends know about LSF!!!!!”

“Before #lsfspringslimdown started I was a slacker (being a stay at home mom without interacting with older adults can hurt you). I wasn’t feeling well mentally and physically but this Thanks to the challenge my life has been affected for the better! I lost 12 pounds and gained a healthier outlook on life! The amazing community has been one of my favorite parts of the challenge.
I created new routines, nutrition, and exercise habits. It helped set me up for success in my health journey. Nutrition has always been the hardest part and I was really struggling but it got easier as the challenge progressed.
For exercise I loved the Move app. The exercises are fun and easy but very effective. I feel better mentally and physically thanks to this challenge and this is just the beginning. It really helped me find myself again. I am also proud to be a healthy role model for my son! I can’t wait to see what else is in store! As Katie says, ‘Good things come to those who sweat!’“
