5 Self-Care Rituals I Love

It’s almost time to start my Self Love Week Mini Challenge. @TeamLSF And to get you in the spirit, I’m talking about 5 self-care rituals that I love. It can be so easy for us to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives that sometimes, we forget to prioritize the most important person we know—ourselves.

With the weekend coming up, I thought it would be a good time to share some tips we can all use to shower ourselves with the love we deserve.

Enjoy a little luxury

Do you have that candle that you save because you love how it smells and don’t want to use it? Or a fancy bubble bath that’s sitting on your shelf? Girl, it’s time to rock!

This weekend, pull out all the things you’ve been saving “for a special occasion.” Because I will tell you that: every day is a special occasion!

Those perks aren’t giving you any unused seating (but they’re taking up space). So you can make the most of them!

Try the “Grateful for Me” meditation.

What do you like about your life? You can probably list a handful of things. But I have a challenge for you.

Do a gratitude meditation focusing on what you love about yourself. to yourself. I know I know. This may feel difficult or a little uncomfortable. But if the thought of it makes you want to cringe, that’s kind of a sign that you should really go for it.

This weekend, set aside 15 minutes (come on, you can do anything for 15 minutes). Grab a journal. Find a quiet, comfortable seat. And make a list of things you like about yourself. If you’re feeling cold, start with the things you know your friends and family will say about you.

Begin the potable ritual.

There’s something special about going through the ritual of making yourself a nice drink, then sitting down to enjoy it without rushing out the door. It could be a cup of tea in your favorite mug, a cocktail you want to try, or something to make you feel good. May I recommend our #PinkDrink Lemonade?

To make it:

  • Cut a wedge from one lemon (leave the rest whole).
  • Add 1 scoop of Natural beauty 8-16 oz of water in a pretty glass.
  • Stir well!
  • Squeeze the remaining lemon juice.
  • Add ice and garnish with your lemon wedge.

Call your friend.

Practicing self-care doesn’t mean you have to. by the Talking to yourself, actually, with friends is actually great for your mental health.

As a small act of self-care, call a friend or family member you’ve been missing. Just a few minutes of chatting with them on the phone can put some serious steps in your step.

Prioritize your zzzz’s.

Sleep is an important part of feeling good. And I know how easy it is to burn the candle at both ends, sacrificing comfort to squeeze everything in. So this weekend, make it a priority to get a good night’s sleep! This means setting yourself up for success. A nightly routine.

Make it feel fun. Spray your room with your favorite fragrance. Place your fluffiest blanket on your bed. Pull out the book you want to start reading before bed (with all your screens powered off). And how about a nice mug Slumber Party In your best mug to make your night time feel extra special?

Happy Valentine’s Day, kids! I hope you all feel really loved this weekend because you deserve it. And let me know if you try any of these tips!
